Valve Locks

Pioneer Performance offers 3 types of Valve Locks:

O.E. 7° Type Lock - This valve lock is stamped to meet all O.E. specifications, then the parts are case hardened. Recommended for stock and mild performance applications.

Super Duty 7° Valve Lock - Our best 7° valve lock is not stamped, but machined from high-grade steel and case hardened to a depth of .010" to .015". Recommended for severe duty applications with higher spring pressures.

10° Valve Lock - Pioneer's Performance 10° Valve Lock is to be used with our 10° retainer. This lock is machined (not stamped) from high grade steel, case hardened and features a recess for a lash cap if desired. Recommended for severe duty applications with higher spring pressures.
