Stainless Steel Valves
Pioneer Performance intake and exhaust valves are made
of 1-piece forged 21-4N stainless steel, an excellent material for high
temperature and corrosion resistance. A special heat treating procedure
is used for maximum strength and hardness.
To ensure long life of the valves under extreme heat
conditions, we apply Stellite to the tip for high wear resistance.
The valve stem is hard chromed to further reduce friction and wear,
single grooved for added strength, and the valve head is swirl-polished
for efficient flow of gases in and out of the cylinder combustion
chamber. Only after the final critical quality inspection process
do our stainless steel valves earn the name Pioneer Performance Products.

include the popular applications with undercut valve
stems (which
reduces weight and increases fuel/air flow). These 1-piece valves
are manufactured with the same material and processes as our
existing "straight stemmed" valves. NEW NUMBERS
ARE 820320 thru 820344.
