When manufacturing critical components such as connecting rod bolts, Pioneer Performance gives special attention to head design and shape as well as material selection, heat treating, tensile testing and finishing. Our Premium Performance Rod Bolts are 100% U.S. manufactured from chrome-moly steel and heat treated to 180,000 PSI. The heads are cold formed during the manufacturing process, threads are rolled after heat treating and a professional black oxide finish is applied.

To assure maximum head surface contact and a perfect fit between the bolt and rod, each head design is exactly matched to the O.E.M. specifications and knurling tolerances are kept to a minimum.

Premium Performance Rod Bolts have a dimple in each end for measuring rod bolt stretch, which is our recommended method of torque.

Hi-tensile 180,000 PSI Rod Nuts are included in each kit.
